Accessing log files to troubleshoot AgilePoint installation issues

Symptoms

Error messages are encountered during the installation of AgilePoint. Most common errors are due to insufficient privileges to access and copy files to certain directories, using the gacutil/i, or installing the apsvrmon.exe.

If you encounter an error message during the installation of an AgilePoint component, log files are generated and can be found at the following locations:

AgilePoint Envision - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ascentn\1\Installer.log
AgilePoint Developer - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ascentn\2\Installer.log
AgilePoint Server - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ascentn\3\Installer.log
AgilePoint Enterprise Manager - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ascentn\4\Installer.log
